Writer, mother and co-owner of Smokin’ Pete’s BBQ, Julie Reinhardt thinks smoking pork butt might just help women find balance in their hectic lives. If they can’t find inner peace, they will find a tasty piece of tender meat at the end of the day. Julie has worked with food most of her life, from dishwasher to catering director and restaurateur. She’s also cooked for rock stars, a 5-star general, and for friends and family under the stars. When not smoking up some tender meat, Reinhardt writes for adults and children. She lives with her husband, two kids, and two cats in Seattle.
